• Question: Will humans become extinct?

      Hello Bestgirl12,

      If and when the sun dies, or I guess if the planet does not survive because we’ve destroyed it, then we humans might become extinct, unless we’ve learned how to escape and live on other planets in other star systems.

      Hi 687pnug24,

      This is a tricky one to answer – when the Sun runs out of fuel and dies in about 5 billion years, this might be far enough in the future that we may have moved to other planets in the Universe! For that reason, I’d say it is unlikely humans would become extinct, provided we move to other planets in the future!
