As well as doing science I love to surf (see photos) and travel. I have been lucky enough to surf all around the world, including Bali (Indonesia), Australia (where I am from) and the Philippines.
At the end of my PhD (science degree), I hope I am better at science than I am at surfing!
I currently live in Oxford and as well as working as a scientists I work as an emergency doctor at the Oxford University Hospital.

At the moment, we know doctors order some tests and treatments that don’t work. This is a worry because it can cause side effects for patients, even when though the tests and treatments don’t work.
We hope we can identify these tests and treatments so patients, like you and I, don’t have to have blood tests or x-rays that they don’t need too!

My Typical Day:
Some days I go to the hospital and work as a doctor in the emergency department. Other days I go to Oxford University and do science!
