      Hi Lexie,

      Black holes represent some of the most massive and explosive systems in the Universe, and so can be used to study the extremes of physics that we are taught in school. For example, the black holes I study are some of the most massive ‘things’ around, yet at the same time the most small! Such a ‘paradox’ is one of the many reasons I find them so interesting to study!
