      Good morning Jess,

Science is about asking questions, being curious and seeking answers – so it’s very human. Doing science allows you to test ideas you have that might answer the questions. You design experiments to observe and measure things. You might not get the answer to your question, you might show that what you thought was the answer is wrong, so the activity could lead to more questions that can be explored. From science you are always learning and pushing the boundaries of knowledge, even though it might be in a tiny way.

You also got to meet and work with interesting people and get to visit great places 🙂

Hope this helps and interests you to take up science beyond school.

      Hi Jess,

I love how science has the ability to bring together lots and lots of different people’s ideas. In this sense, no matter what someone might be stuck on, there should always be someone out there capable of helping to solve the biggest problems in the long run!

      Peter
