      Hey!
Thats a good question that lots of scientists are trying to work out at the moment. There are some recent studies that show that pesticides are harmful to bees. The bees feel sick and sleepy after they have eaten from flowers that have pesticides on them. This means that they don’t want to go out and get food and look after the colony which is not good. At the moment the companies that makes pesticides have to test them on bees. But they only test on one species of bees and if the bee doesn’t dies straight away then they say its okay. But obviously they pesticides could be making bees sick in other ways. Hopefully the research that we are doing will be able to prove either way and they we can get bad pesticides banned.
