I love many different things about astronomy. One particular thing is the ability to test some of the most extreme conditions in physics that we couldn’t reproduce on Earth. For example, black holes are one of the best tools for testing particular aspects of Einstein’s theories of relativity!
Hi KMB,
Astrophysics uses a lot of different areas of science. However, the main things to look out for are a good understanding of physics, maths and some sort of programming. A lot of what we do uses coding of some sort, so if you can practice this, it will be very useful for any astrophysicist!

what do you like the most about astronomy? I’m very interested about black holes and about gas clouds. I’m specially interested how when 2 neutron stars collide and form a explosion. I also heard something in a video about a ‘death ray’ when stars collide or something about that.
My favourite part about astronomy is looking at the stars and finding out something new about it or looking at the history of the universe and discovering how it was made. I like to see what they are made of and how it will be in the future. Finally I like knowing of all and I feel this would be a good subject to push and find put more than other scientists have.

Thanks
What subjects would I have to take to become an astronomer or a astrophysicist
