When a wasp stings your it injects a poison into your skin with its sharp stinger and then flies off. If can then make more poison so it can sting again.
When bumblebees sting you they jab their stinger into your skin where it gets stuck. When the bumblebee tries to fly off it rips its own stinger off which kills it. 🙁
Luckily bumblebees are very friendly and they will only sting you if they feel really threatened because they don’t want to die.
