      That’s an interesting question. Bees can be effected by lots of diseases and parasites. One of the most commmon diseases is called foulbrood. This kills the bees before they turn from pupae (like the bee version of a caterpillar) in to bees. Another big problem is varroa mite. This is a tiny little bug that gets into the next and on the bees. It slows them down and can eventually kill them.
