Multi-disciplinary means that I study more than one subject (they are sometimes called disciplines). I think that it is important to try and be multi-disciplinary because we learn more when we share ideas across subjects. I currently do research in biology, physics and maths. At university I studied Natural Sciences which is a multi-disciplinary degree where you get to do a mixture of sciences.
