Question: How many gases are there in the world?

This is a tricky question!
There are only 13 elements in the periodic table that as gases at room temperature. However, there are hundreds of other gases that are mixtures of different elements, and compounds like water can become gases at different temperatures. So overall its hard to know. I don’t know if any one has ever work this out.
