      Hi Chuck,

      Great question! The study of astronomy and space science effects the Earth in many ways. For example, the study of the Earth’s magnetic field effects how satellites orbit, which in turn effects so many things we use! For example, Sat Navs rely on accurate satellite positioning in orbit!
