• Question: Does the sun increase its temperature

      Hi Jally,

      That is a fantastic question. In about 5 billion years, the Sun will run out of fuel and expand to form a red giant. Because the Sun will have gotten bigger, the star will actually cool to approximately half it’s current temperature!
