      Hello Bethany,

      It’s not a fact, some people fear that robots will take over the world. We have to rationally debate this topic, and get more people involved to ensure that we build ethical and moral machines that cooperate with humans. I worked on the RoboLaw project, it was funded by the EU -you can download the final report, ‘Guidelines for Regulating Robotics’ from the project website:

      Building robots is to do the jobs that are dangerous and mundane for humans, we need to ensure that funding for robots is not more for military robots to fight our wars. Perhaps intelligent machines will show us humans that wars don’t help in sharing the planet’s resources equally. That is the main challenge for us humans, and keeping this planet alive, I feel robots will help us with this.
